  • March 1977: Grand Champion (Individual) and 1st Place (Team, Hayward Taekwondo Academy Black Belt Team) at the California State Taekwondo competition, San Jose, USTU sanctioned.
  • 2004-2005: Master of the Year, USA Martial Arts
  • July 2004: Inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame
  • 2005: Member of the Coaching Staff of the USA National Martial Arts Team
